Heritage restoration for listed and historic buildings

Full conservation and restoration of historic buildings — from a single lime repair to a multi-year programme. Grade I and Grade II specialists based at Thurstaston, Wirral.

What sensitive restoration means here

We start by reading the building: failed cement, lost profiles, water paths, previous bad repairs. Then we specify authentic materials — hot lime, hydraulic lime, natural / Roman cement, traditional mouldings — and work with conservation officers where consent is required.

Services on historic fabric

  • Lime plastering, rendering and pointing
  • Ornamental plaster and moulding reinstatement
  • Facade and stucco restoration (including Roman cement)
  • Repair of cement-damaged historic plaster
  • Surveys, samples and conservation-led programmes

Selected work

Clock Tower, Thurstaston (Grade II). Dawpool sandstone gateway. Liverpool Roman cement stucco terraces. Coach house reconstruction in hot lime.

Areas we serve

Wirral, Cheshire, Liverpool, Merseyside, Lancashire, North Wales — nationwide and international projects by arrangement.
